Welcome to F1-Pitlane, a website that is dedicated to bringing you news, comment and analysis about all aspects of Formula 1.

Our objective is to post one to two original articles each day. Our approach is to select the finest bunch of writers we can get our grubby hands on and unleash them on the site. Indeed the writers we've assembled are some of the finest on the web and many have their own blogs and sites to which they contribute.

F1-Pitlane is just another writing outlet for these talented individuals. Their submissions are occasionally lightly edited for spelling and grammar but what they write about is entirely up to them — we do not tell them what to say, and if we did they'd ignore us.

All photos from this site are from the F1 teams and are used under the copyright guidelines spelled out by each team. For example, a photo of Lewis Hamilton will be from the McLaren website.
